The Martyr Anodes CMCOBRAKITM is a complete sacrificial anode kit designed specifically for BRP OMC Cobra sterndrive units. This comprehensive kit provides critical corrosion protection for your lower unit in fresh and brackish water environments where magnesium anodes are recommended.

Complete Protection Kit Includes:

  • CM984513 trim tab anode (1)
  • CM393023 bearing carrier anode (1)
  • CM431708 skeg anode (1)
  • All necessary mounting hardware
  • Installation instructions

Martyr sacrificial anodes are manufactured to strict military specifications using high-quality magnesium alloy. These anodes corrode preferentially to protect the valuable metal components of your sterndrive from galvanic corrosion. Regular inspection and replacement of sacrificial anodes is essential preventive maintenance that extends the service life of your drive unit and prevents costly repairs.

Important: Magnesium anodes are designed for freshwater and brackish water use only. For saltwater applications, aluminum anodes are recommended.
