Product Details

The AP Products Double EKD Base is part of the advanced EK Series Slide Out Seal System, designed for superior protection and sealing performance on RV slide-out rooms. This base measures 1-1/2 inches thick by 3-3/16 inches wide by 14 feet long and features a straight edge for easy alignment with adhesive backing plus an integrated 2-3/8 inch wiper.

Key Features:

  • Can be used for new installations or when upgrading worn out rubber seals
  • The D Seal (sold separately) slides onto the track in this base, hides fasteners, and provides a positive seal
  • Can be used on the interior wall for protection when the Slide Out Room is extended or when replacing a double seal
  • Designed with a straight edge for easy alignment with adhesive backing, and fasteners may be used to install the base as well
  • Black rubber construction for durability and weather resistance
  • Compatible wall thickness: 1.25 to 2 inches

This premium EKD base is specifically engineered for use with the EK D seal (sold separately) to create a complete slide-out sealing system. The integrated wiper provides additional protection against the elements while the track design allows for easy D seal installation without exposed fasteners for a clean, professional appearance.
