Product Details

Sikaflex-291 is a premium one-component polyurethane marine adhesive sealant specifically designed for above and below waterline applications. This professional-grade sealant creates permanent elastic bonds with excellent adhesion to a wide variety of substrates commonly found in marine environments.

Key Features:

  • Non-sag consistency ideal for vertical and overhead applications
  • Excellent resistance to saltwater, weathering, and UV exposure
  • Remains permanently elastic after curing to accommodate joint movement
  • Bonds to wood, metals, metal primers, painted surfaces, ceramics, and most plastics
  • Can be applied to slightly damp surfaces
  • Paintable with most marine paints after curing
  • Temperature resistance from -40°F to 194°F (-40°C to 90°C)

Commonly used for deck hardware installation, through-hull fittings, hull-to-deck joints, port light installation, and general marine bonding and sealing applications. Black color provides a clean, professional appearance that resists showing dirt and weathering.
