Product Details

The AP Products 010176 is a 12-inch gas spring lift support designed for RV, marine, and automotive applications. This gas spring provides 13 pounds of force to assist with opening and holding cabinet doors, hatches, storage compartments, and engine covers in the open position.

Key Features:

  • 13 lb force rating for reliable lifting assistance
  • 12-inch extended length for versatile mounting applications
  • Durable gas-charged cylinder construction for long service life
  • Smooth, controlled motion prevents slamming
  • Corrosion-resistant finish suitable for indoor and outdoor use
  • Ball socket end fittings for easy installation

Gas springs are commonly used to replace worn or failed lift supports on RV compartment doors, marine hatches, truck caps, and storage enclosures. The controlled dampening action provides smooth, safe operation while reducing strain on hinges and latches.
