The MC 160922MC is an aftermarket gas control valve and thermostat designed for Suburban LP gas water heaters in recreational vehicles. This Unitrol-style valve serves as a multifunctional component that controls the operation of your RV's gas-powered water heating system.

Key Features:

• Control knob allows you to light the pilot flame, adjust water temperature, and shut off the appliance
• Internal temperature-sensing probe monitors water thermal levels in the tank
• High-temperature energy cut-off (ECO) safety mechanism interrupts gas flow if water temperature exceeds safe limits
• 3/8" inverted flare inlet and outlet connections
• 1-1/2" shank size for proper tank mounting

Important Installation Notes:

This valve is designed for RV use only and must be installed on LP gas water heaters. The protective plastic sleeve over the temperature probe guards against corrosive substances and should not be removed.
