Swagman 64683 Chinook Hitch Mount Platform 2-Bike Rack for 1-1/4" and 2" Receivers

The Swagman Chinook (64683) is a hitch-mounted platform bike rack designed to carry one or two bikes with ease and security. Compatible with both Class 2 (1-1/4") and Class 3 (2") hitch receivers, it offers broad vehicle compatibility with a straightforward cam-lever tilt and fold design.

The Chinook secures bikes using a dual-method system: adjustable locking ratchet hooks clamp down on the bike frame to hold it firmly in place, while wheel ratchet straps lock the tires into the platform trays. Padded hooks protect your frame's finish during transport. The adjustable wheel trays accommodate wheelbases from 20" to 50" and tires up to 3" wide, fitting wheels ranging from 20" to 29" in diameter. Fat bike trays (model 64694) are sold separately for wider tire needs.

The Chinook assembles quickly and can be loaded or unloaded in under two minutes, making it a practical choice for both casual riders and frequent cyclists. Cruiser bikes, e-bikes, and step-through frame bikes may require the Swagman 63999 Cruiser Bar (sold separately) to create a proper top tube for the ratchet hooks to engage.
