Product Details

The Husky Towing 30818 is a replacement electric trailer brake magnet designed as a direct-fit solution for Dexter 10" x 2-1/4" electric brake assemblies and Hayes 10" x 1-5/8" electric brake assemblies. It is cross-referenced to Dexter OEM part number K71-104-00, making it a reliable, compatible replacement for worn or failed brake magnets.

The brake magnet is the core component of an electric trailer brake system, generating the electromagnetic force that engages the brake shoes against the drum during braking. Replacing a worn magnet restores proper braking performance and helps ensure safe, controlled stopping power for your trailer.

Key Features:

  • Direct replacement brake magnet for compatible 10" electric brake assemblies
  • Fits Dexter 10" x 2-1/4" electric brake assemblies
  • Fits Hayes 10" x 1-5/8" electric brake assemblies
  • Cross-references to Dexter OEM part number K71-104-00
  • Single magnet (sold individually)
  • Restores proper electromagnetic braking force for safe trailer operation
  • Built to Husky Towing's quality and durability standards

This magnet is sold as a single unit. For a complete axle brake job, two magnets (one per wheel) are typically required. Always verify your brake drum diameter and shoe width before ordering to confirm compatibility.
