Factor 55 00078 Shorty Strap II Recovery Strap 3ft x 2in

The Factor 55 Shorty Strap II is designed to serve as a versatile short soft link to attach to vehicles and is constructed of ultra low stretch polyester, unlike traditional high-stretch nylon snatch straps. This professional-grade recovery strap measures 2 inches wide by 3 feet long, and reduces to only 1.5 feet when used in the common basket configuration.

Key Features:

• Low energy storage design minimizes recoil energy during possible component failure
• Flat shape prevents rolling and twisting when attached to tubular shapes like bumper stingers, steering components, and nerf bars
• Durable Cordura abrasion guard for reinforced eyes and webbing seams
• Working load limits clearly labeled for straight, basket and choker configurations
• Straight configuration: 6,200 lbs | Choker configuration: 4,960 lbs | Basket configuration: 12,400 lbs
• Manufactured in the USA from low stretch polyester webbing

Applications vary from easily attaching to vehicles that are not equipped with recovery points, to using your winch and Shorty Strap to field repair or straighten bent steering components like tie rods and drag links. The ultra-short design maintains the necessary webbing overlap and stitch count for rated loads while minimizing stored energy for safer recovery operations.
