Raritan Engineering 31-3001 Salt Feed Unit 2 Gallon for LectraSan Marine Sanitation

The Raritan Engineering 31-3001 is a complete 2-gallon salt feed system designed specifically for use with LectraSan marine sanitation devices operating in brackish water environments. While the LectraSan does not require a salt feed system in ocean water due to natural salinity levels, this system ensures proper operation when cruising inland waterways, rivers, or low-salinity coastal areas.

Key Features:

• 2-gallon capacity salt solution reservoir for extended operation between refills
• Automatic metering system injects salt solution during each flush cycle
• Integrated with LectraSan Control Indicator Panel for low-salt monitoring
• Complete installation kit includes tank, mounting hardware, and feed lines
• Compatible with LectraSan Scan control systems

How It Works:

Simply mix a salt solution and fill the 2-gallon tank. Each time the marine toilet is flushed, a measured amount of salt solution automatically mixes with incoming water to increase salinity in the LectraSan treatment tank. The control panel displays a low-salt indicator when the tank needs refilling, eliminating guesswork and ensuring continuous sanitation system performance.

This system is essential for boaters who navigate between ocean and inland waters, providing the flexibility to maintain effective marine sanitation treatment regardless of water salinity conditions.
