Scotty Downriggers 133-16 Well Nut Mounting Kit Pack Hardware Parts & Accessories - 16

The Scotty 133-16 Well Nut Mounting Kit provides a secure, waterproof mounting solution for installing marine accessories onto thin-walled structures like kayaks, boats, and other watercraft. This 16-pack of high-quality neoprene well nuts is designed to expand inside pre-drilled holes, creating a firm anchor point that won't loosen or pull through.

Key Features:

• 16-piece well nut mounting kit for multiple installations
• Neoprene construction resists water, oil, and marine environments
• Expansion design grips securely inside thin-walled materials
• Creates effective seal against dirt, moisture, and grime at mounting joints
• Ideal for mounting downriggers, rod holders, and accessories to kayaks
• Works with fiberglass, plastic, and composite materials

Well nuts are the preferred fastening method for kayak and small boat accessories because they distribute load across a larger area than traditional bolts, preventing stress cracks in thin materials. Simply drill the appropriate size hole, insert the well nut, and tighten the machine screw to expand the neoprene sleeve for a secure, sealed mount.
