The Nauticus Smart Tab SX9510-40 is a fully automatic composite trim tab system designed for boats 12-16 feet with 40-80 HP outboards. This innovative system self-adjusts to your boat's load and maneuvering without requiring any operator input, switches, or hydraulics.

Automatic Performance Enhancement:

The SX series features a nitrogen gas actuator that provides lift at the stern by holding the trim plate down during acceleration. As boat speed increases, water pressure pushes up on the trim plates to minimize bow rise and help the boat plane quickly. Once water pressure exceeds the actuator's load rating, the plates move to a horizontal position to eliminate drag. This intelligent valve system continuously adjusts to sea conditions, acting like shock absorbers to provide stability in turns, while crossing waves, and at all speeds.
