Featuring an extra-long 14.5-inch tube with 2.25-inch outer diameter, this holder extends 4 inches beyond standard length models, allowing bent butt rods to sit deeper and significantly reducing leverage and stress on the mounting surface.

The swivel base design is essential for heavy-duty applications like Giant Bluefin Tuna fishing, where drags exceeding 60 pounds create tremendous forces. By allowing the rod butt to rotate freely, this holder eliminates sheared pins while enabling the rod tip to follow the fish's movement. This reduces line fraying and drag by keeping line flowing smoothly through the roller tip rather than sideways over it.
