The Nauticus SX Series composite trim tabs combine automatic performance adjustment with rust-free durability for boats 21-25 feet with 150-220 HP outboards. Unlike traditional hydraulic or electric trim tabs, the SX system uses nitrogen gas actuators to automatically adjust trim based on boat speed, loading, and sea conditions—no switches or operator input required while underway.

How It Works:

The nitrogen gas actuator holds the trim plate down during acceleration, providing lift at the stern to minimize bow rise and accelerate planing. As boat speed increases and water pressure exceeds the actuator's load rating, the plates automatically move to a horizontal position to eliminate drag. An internal valve system dampens plate movement to provide smooth, stable performance without sudden reactions to minor pressure changes.
