Product Details

The Davis Instruments 6490 UV Sensor is a precision instrument designed to measure the sunburning portion of the UV spectrum for Davis Vantage Pro and Vantage Pro2 weather stations. This advanced sensor enables you to monitor UV index, dose rate, and track both daily and accumulated UV exposure.

Key Features:

  • Multi-layer filter provides spectral response that closely matches the Erythema Action Spectrum for accurate UV measurement
  • Diffuser design ensures excellent cosine response for consistent readings at all sun angles
  • Two-piece housing minimizes radiation heating and allows convection cooling of the sensor
  • Weather-resistant design prevents trapping of water or dust for long-term reliability
  • Includes built-in level for proper installation alignment
  • Comes with 2-foot (0.6m) connection cable
  • Compatible with both original Vantage Pro and Vantage Pro2 weather stations

This UV sensor is already included with Vantage Pro Plus and Vantage Pro2 Plus packages. For optimal installation, you may need to purchase additional accessories such as the Solar Sensor (Model 6450) and Sensor Mounting Shelf (Model 6673), sold separately.

Easy

Quick and easy and better bargain than competitors.

Quality site with great prices!

Fast, easy and supplied the unusual automotive part I was looking for.

It's gone well.

super easy checkout with amazon link! Let's you know if in stock or not, which is critical when ordering racing components.

Great price on product sold out at my "regular" place. My only negative was that I didn't get info to track the package or know when it would be delivered -- until AFTER it had been delivered. But that's not such a bad thing; it was a nice surprise when it showed up! I'll be recommending you to friends.

Easy and straight to the point.

First time I've ordered from Autoplicity. They had the cheapest price, I found online. Shipping was quick also. <br>Thanks!!!

Quick Fast Low pricing thanks….

Couldn't be more happy with my product. I ordered from Autoplicity because they were the cheapest price around and I received my order within 5 days. I have installed the cold air intake and couldn't believe all the extra power. I am very pleased with the entire transaction.
