The Blue Sea Systems ML-RBS Remote Battery Switch combines the convenience of remote battery bank management with the safety of manual service lock-out capability. Designed for 24V systems, this heavy-duty switch puts control at your fingertips while keeping the switching mechanism close to your batteries for optimal cable management.

Remote Control Convenience:

Unlike conventional battery switches buried in lockers or behind seats, the ML-RBS includes a Contura-style SPST remote switch (Blue Sea Systems 2155) that mounts directly on your dash or nav station. The remote switch features a sliding cover to prevent accidental switching and requires only light gauge wiring for installation. This design shortens heavy cable runs by positioning the 500A switching mechanism near the battery bank.

Manual Override and Safety Features:

A built-in manual control lever with lock-out feature ensures you can always control battery power even if remote wiring is compromised. The service lock-out prevents accidental current flow while working on your electrical system. This auto-release model is ideal for applications using alternate relays where a normally open relay is desired, and can be controlled using SPST or SPSD switches.
