ELCI Protection Technology:

The integrated C-Series ELCI main breaker continuously monitors current balance between hot and neutral conductors. If an imbalance is detected—caused by a ground fault in an appliance or faulty grounding wire—the breaker trips immediately to prevent dangerous current leakage into the water. This protection is especially critical in fresh or brackish water where electric shock can paralyze swimmers and cause drowning.
