The Teleflex Safe-T QC (Quick Connect) Rotary Steering Kit delivers responsive three-turn lock-to-lock steering for power-assisted sterndrive boats. Designed for applications where No FeedBack systems are not required, this kit features a patented no-tools-required cable connection at the helm for fast, straightforward installation.

Key Features:

  • Quick-response 3-turn lock-to-lock steering for precise control
  • Patented quick-connect cable system - no tools needed at helm
  • Standard 3/4" round tapered steering shaft
  • Stainless steel cable output ends for durability
  • Meets ABYC standards and NMMA certification requirements

Applications: Suitable for virtually all power-assisted sterndrive boats with steering wheels up to 16" diameter. Replaces all Teleflex/SeaStar Solutions Safe-T helms manufactured since 1968 with minimal or no dash modifications required.

  • SH5094P Helm unit
  • SB27484P 90° Bezel Kit
  • SSC62XX Steering Cable

Note: Components are available for dual cable systems, though No-FeedBack steering is recommended for all dual cable steered, non-power-assisted outboards and sterndrives.
