Teleflex SSC6216 Safe-T QC Rotary Steering Cable 16ft

The Teleflex SSC6216 is a 16-foot Safe-T Quick Connect (QC) rotary mechanical steering cable designed for use with Teleflex and SeaStar Solutions rotary helm systems. This cable fits most Teleflex rotary steering applications from 1968 to present, making it a versatile replacement for a wide range of single-station powerboats.

The SSC6216 directly replaces the SSC62 series (used in Safe-T QC and NFB systems) and the SSC72 series (used in Safe-T TS and Big-T systems). It is also the same cable found in complete steering system kits SS13216, SS13716, and SS14716.

Key Features:

• 16-foot cable length for versatile installation configurations
• Quick Connect (QC) snap-in cable ends — no tools required for connection
• Stainless steel output ends resist corrosion in marine environments
• Outer jacket constructed of HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) for abrasion resistance and superior water penetration protection
• Suitable for virtually all power-assisted stern drive boats with steering wheels up to 16 inches in diameter
• Meets ABYC safety standards and NMMA certification requirements

Compatible Helm Units: SH4910P, SH4920P, SH5094-1P, SH5150P, SH91190P, SH91523-1P, SH91526P, SH91527P
