Product Details

The Icon Pistons 12478 is a 1-1/4 inch spin weld fitting designed specifically for ICON fresh water tanks in RV and marine applications. This white inlet boss fitting creates a permanent, leak-free connection without requiring adhesives or curing time.

Key Features:

  • Friction welding technology bonds fitting directly to tank material for superior strength
  • No glue, epoxy, or set time required for installation
  • 1-1/4 inch size accommodates standard fresh water plumbing connections
  • White finish matches most RV and marine fresh water tank installations
  • Requires appropriate spin weld tool and router for professional installation

This spin weld fitting provides a robust, permanent mounting solution for fresh water tank inlet connections. The friction welding process molecularly bonds the fitting to the tank wall, creating a watertight seal that eliminates the risk of adhesive failure or leaks over time. Ideal for new tank installations or retrofitting existing fresh water systems.
