The Mastervolt Mass GI 3.5 is a high-frequency solid-state marine isolation transformer designed to provide a safe, galvanically isolated connection between shore power and your vessel's onboard AC electrical system. By electrically isolating the onboard AC system from shore power, it prevents electrochemical corrosion of underwater metal fittings and hull hardware while maintaining the safety ground provided by the shore power connection — a critical protection for any boat, and especially important on metal-hulled vessels.

Unlike traditional low-frequency isolation transformers, the Mass GI 3.5 uses advanced high-frequency switching technology, making it 75% lighter and 60% smaller than comparable conventional units. Its robust aluminum enclosure requires no rubber anti-vibration mounts, as the unit produces no hum or vibration during operation.
