Regular inspection and replacement of the wear plate is essential for maintaining pump efficiency. Signs of wear typically appear as circular grooves or cuts on the inner surface where the impeller blades rotate. Replacing a worn wear plate helps prevent impeller distortion and extends the life of your pump assembly.
