Jabsco 8180000 Outer Bearing Seal for 6400 7420 18370 Series Pumps

The Jabsco 8180000 (818-0000) Outer Bearing Seal is a genuine OEM replacement lip seal designed to protect the drive-end ball bearing on Jabsco pedestal-mount flexible impeller pumps. Positioned on the outboard side of the bearing housing, this seal prevents water, bilge contaminants, and debris from entering the bearing cavity — helping to extend bearing life and maintain reliable pump operation.

Key Features:

• OEM Jabsco replacement outer bearing lip seal
• Designed for use with Jabsco 6400, 7420, and 18370 series flexible impeller pumps
• Also compatible with pump models 18830, 18840, 18930, and 18940
• Interchangeable with parts used on earlier pump model 10490-0001
• Seats at the drive-end of the pump shaft to seal the outer ball bearing

Important Service Note: When replacing the shaft seal assembly, the outer bearing seal is typically distorted during disassembly and will require replacement. This seal is not included in the standard Jabsco service kit, so it is recommended to keep a spare on hand whenever performing pump maintenance.
