Maxwell RODE60 Anchor Rode 25' 3/8" HT Chain to 250' 5/8" 8-Plait Nylon Brait

The Maxwell RODE60 is a complete 275-foot anchor rode kit combining 25 feet of 3/8" High Test (HT) galvanized G4 chain factory-spliced to 250 feet of 5/8" 8-strand Nylon Brait rope. Designed specifically for use with anchor windlasses, this ready-to-deploy package delivers reliable holding power and smooth windlass operation for offshore and coastal boaters.

Maxwell's proprietary Nylon Brait™ rope is engineered using advanced 8-strand braid technology, producing a firm strand formation that maintains its shape under load while offering full flexibility for compact drum or locker stowage. The unique construction maximizes tensile strength, shock and energy absorption, and ensures a secure grip-hold through windlass gypsies — critical for reliable deployment and retrieval.

Key Features:

• 25' of 3/8" High Test G4 galvanized chain — provides weight, abrasion resistance, and catenary at the anchor end
• 250' of 5/8" 8-strand Nylon Brait™ rope — factory spliced directly to the chain for a clean, strong connection
• 8-strand construction with firm strand formation and full stowage flexibility
