Product Details

The Helix Racing Products 4021800 PTFE Exhaust Sealing Tape is a high-temperature sealing solution designed specifically for powersports exhaust systems. Each pack includes two adhesive-backed PTFE tape strips that create a reliable, leak-free seal at exhaust joints — ideal for slip-on muffler installations or when re-packing a muffler canister.

Key Features:

  • PTFE construction — durable, chemical-resistant material engineered for exhaust sealing applications
  • Dimensions: 1 inch wide x 8 inches long x 0.020 inches thick per strip
  • Temperature rated up to 525°F — suitable for muffler canister and headpipe-to-muffler connections
  • Adhesive backing for secure, precise placement during installation
  • Versatile use — also suitable for sealing fluid connections
  • 2-pack included for multiple repairs or a complete installation

Important: Not recommended for use on headpipe-to-cylinder-head connections or exhaust ports where temperatures exceed 525°F. Always verify joint temperatures before application.

I received my order of Shurflo replacement o-rings very quickly - sooner than expected. Unfortunately, I really only needed 1 or 2 o-rings, but they are only offered in a pack of 10. I'll never use 10 o-rings, so it was wasteful spending. I shopped other companies, and could not find packs of 1 or 2, and Boatplicity was the least expensive for what is available on-line.

Overall it was fine, could have used a shipping confirmation.

Ordered a tire and received a tire. Took a couple days after shipping tag was created for it to actually ship, but it was a holiday week. Came pretty quick after the FedEx tracking was updated.

All good!!!
