The system continuously monitors propane levels in bilges, engine compartments, and other enclosed spaces where propane gas could accumulate. When dangerous fume levels are detected, the alarm immediately alerts occupants while the solenoid valve automatically shuts off the propane supply at the source. The display unit features a check/reset button to temporarily silence the alarm, which will reactivate after 30 seconds if dangerous conditions persist. For optimal safety, sensors should be replaced every 3-4 years in harsh marine environments.
