Product Details

The AP ME518 is a Type 1 QCC (Quick Closing Coupling) propane connector designed for RV and trailer LP gas systems. This safety-enhanced connector features a 1/4" male NPT thread connection and a 1-5/16" female ACME inlet, providing a reliable interface between propane cylinders and gas appliances.

Safety Features:

  • Built-in excess flow valve prevents gas flow until connector is fully engaged
  • Thermal protection melts in case of fire, disengaging the nipple to stop propane flow
  • Positive back check seal at disconnect prevents propane release into atmosphere
  • Positive shutoff mechanism ensures secure connection before gas flows
