About T.R. Industries

T.R. Industries is a family-owned, privately-held company with roots stretching back to the 1970s. Headquartered in Richardson, Texas, the brand began its journey under the name TR Mold Release — a name that reflected its early focus on industrial surface care solutions. Over the decades, T.R. Industries evolved far beyond that original niche, growing into a respected international retail consumer products company with a diverse lineup of cleaning, polishing, and surface-protection formulas trusted by automotive enthusiasts, boat owners, and everyday consumers alike.

What sets T.R. Industries apart is the combination of professional-grade chemistry and consumer-friendly application. Their products are engineered to clean, protect, polish, and shine a wide variety of surfaces — from painted automotive panels and glass to fiberglass hulls and marine gelcoat. Whether you're detailing a daily driver or maintaining a weekend boat, T.R. Industries offers purpose-built solutions for the job.

Surface Care You Can Trust

One of the brand's flagship offerings is their lineup of One Step Cleaner/Waxes — a category that reflects the modern detailer's demand for efficiency without compromise. These all-in-one formulas eliminate the need for multiple products by combining the cleaning power of a polish with the protective benefits of a wax, all in a single application step.

For more targeted surface challenges, T.R. Industries' Specialty Cleaners address specific contaminants and materials that general-purpose products may not handle as effectively. From oxidation removal to stain treatment, these cleaners are formulated with precision to tackle tough jobs on a range of substrates.

Detailers looking to bring out a deep, lasting shine will appreciate the brand's Waxes & Polishes. These products are designed to refine paint and surface clarity while laying down a protective layer that stands up to the elements — UV rays, water, and road grime included.

Clear visibility on the road starts with clean glass, and T.R. Industries' Glass Cleaner formulations are built to streak-free performance on windshields, mirrors, and windows. Safe for tinted glass and auto-grade surfaces, these cleaners are a staple in any complete detail kit.

T.R. Industries also has a dedicated presence in the marine market. Their range of Boat Washes is formulated to handle the unique demands of watercraft — including salt exposure, biological growth, and the delicate care required by gelcoat and marine paint surfaces. With five products in this category, boat owners have a full suite of wash solutions to keep their vessels looking their best season after season.
