Product Details

The Engineered Marine Products 75-02380 Thermostat Kit is designed for OMC and Volvo Penta marine inboard engines. This complete replacement kit maintains proper engine operating temperature for optimal performance and efficiency.

Engine Compatibility:

  • OMC 7.4L engines (1994-1998)
  • OMC 8.2L engines (1998)
  • Volvo Penta 7.4 GL, 7.4 Gi, and 7.4 Gsi models
  • Volvo Penta 8.2 GL and 8.2 Gsi models

Kit Includes:

  • 140°F (60°C) thermostat
  • Thermostat gasket
  • O-ring seal

This thermostat kit controls coolant temperature and maintains proper pressure in the cooling system to aid heat transfer from cylinder heads and walls. Regular thermostat replacement is recommended after engine overheating or when experiencing temperature regulation issues. Replaces Volvo Penta part number 3853983-9.
