Product Details

The Ezy-Glide Stik-II Model 840 is a mechanical steering system designed to position the operator in the front of the boat for better visibility and convenience. The slower ratio of the Stik-II provides the added mechanical advantage needed for higher horsepower engines and 4-stroke engines. This 11-foot cable system features an actual reach of 124 inches and is rated for outboard engines not to exceed 70 HP or jet drives up to 90 HP.

  • Stainless steel rotating drum encased in tough molded housing
  • Interlocking handle to steering shaft relieves the possibility of the handle slipping from its position
  • CORLOK design locks to the drum for added safety while offering mechanical advantage to the operator
  • Internal threaded driveshaft for improved lever/driveshaft mating
  • Total lever movement: 58 inches/206 degrees
  • Stainless steel mounting hardware supplied with each system

The mechanical steering kit includes everything you need for installation with the helm, lever, mounting hardware, cable, and dress cover. If the engine is a 4-stroke over 40hp, the Ezy-Stik II model 840 should be considered over the model 870.

The website was easy to navigate and I did happen to call to ask about shipping which was quick and efficient.

The order shipped quickly and arrived within the time allotted. The order contained four of the same items but was shipped partially from two different warehouses. I was only given one tracking number so when only two of the items arrived I had to contact customer support to verify that the other two were on their way.
