Product Details

The Engineered Marine Products 26-01663 is an upper driveshaft housing seal designed for MerCruiser Bravo sterndrive applications. This critical seal prevents water intrusion and gear oil leaks in the upper driveshaft housing area, maintaining proper lubrication and protecting internal drive components from damage.

Key Features:

  • Fits MerCruiser Bravo 1, Bravo 2, and Bravo 3 outdrives
  • Replaces Mercury OEM part number 12708
  • Also replaces GLM 86720 and Sierra 18-1240
  • Manufactured from durable marine-grade rubber compound
  • Designed to withstand heat, pressure, and vibration
  • Direct replacement for OEM specifications

This seal should be replaced whenever service requires removal of the upper driveshaft housing. Installing a fresh seal during maintenance prevents leaks and ensures reliable performance in both freshwater and saltwater environments. The rubber compound is engineered to resist degradation from gear oil, saltwater exposure, and temperature fluctuations common in marine applications.
