The Sierra 18-0129 Reed Block Gasket is a precision-engineered marine replacement gasket designed for Mercury and Mariner V6 outboard engines. It creates a critical seal between the reed block and the engine crankcase housing, maintaining proper compression and ensuring consistent engine performance.
Sierra's replacement gaskets are built to meet or exceed original equipment specifications, making the 18-0129 a reliable direct replacement for multiple Mercury OEM part numbers. This gasket is also a component of the Sierra 18-4319 Powerhead Gasket Set, used in quantity on full powerhead rebuilds.
Key Features:
Replace the reed block gasket any time the reed block assembly is removed for service, or when symptoms such as rough idle, hard starting, loss of power, or backfiring through the carburetor are present. Sierra part number 18-0129 is a trusted choice for professional marine technicians and do-it-yourself boaters alike.

the parts do need to display a better description to determine if the device is for a Manual or Automatic transmission. I'm requesting follow up in case this part is not for a Standard/ Manual.
