Product Details

The Sierra 18-9870 is a specialized aluminum sleeve installation tool designed for marine sterndrive maintenance. This professional-grade tool simplifies the process of installing aluminum sleeves into U-joint bellows during sterndrive service and repair.

Key Features:

  • Precision-machined aluminum construction with red anodized finish for durability and corrosion resistance
  • Compatible with MerCruiser Alpha One, Alpha One Gen II, Bravo, and Blackhawk sterndrive units
  • Also works with select Mercury and Mariner outboard applications requiring bellows service
  • Essential tool for proper U-joint bellows installation to prevent water intrusion
  • Ensures correct sleeve alignment and seating for reliable sealing

This tool is a must-have for marine mechanics and boat owners performing their own sterndrive maintenance. Proper sleeve installation is critical for preventing water from entering the gimbal housing and causing costly damage to internal components.
