Product Details

The Engineered Marine Products 27-27405 Powerhead Base Gasket is a precision-engineered sealing component designed for Johnson and Evinrude outboard motors. This gasket creates a critical seal between the powerhead assembly and the engine block, preventing water intrusion and maintaining proper compression within the combustion chamber.

Key Features:

  • High-quality construction using durable gasket material for reliable sealing
  • Designed to withstand the harsh marine environment and temperature extremes
  • Precision-cut to OEM specifications for proper fit and function
  • Essential component for powerhead rebuilds and major engine service
  • Helps maintain engine compression and prevents coolant leaks

This powerhead base gasket is a direct replacement part that ensures proper sealing between critical engine components. When performing powerhead service or rebuilds, replacing the base gasket with a fresh component is essential for preventing leaks and maintaining engine performance. The gasket should be installed on clean, flat surfaces without old gasket material residue for optimal sealing.

quick and easy

Great pricing!

fast and easy ordering process.

Very good. Had the items I needed whereas others did not.

I was extremely happy with the product that I received, I look forward to purchasing from autoplicity again very soon.

Went well, does it come with a spout?

Very good

Recommended by a fellow RegalGS member. Cheaper than Amazon. I haven't had the opportunity to put them on yet, but everything looks good.

Fantastic price ,fast shipping!!!!

Good price on parts, easy searching with Google Shopping, easy Checkout with Google Checkout. Wish the order shipped a day sooner. Called the 1-800 numnber, I get a little worried sometimes ordering car parts online - some sellers are bogus. But they answered the phone quickly and with a person in the US, not a machine or someone in another country.

sweet

Fast service even when shipping from the manufacturer. My product got to me in 3 days and it works great! Ordered an Odyssey PC1200 battery which was 20% cheaper than anyone else, with shipping included. Shipping information is a little slow on getting the tracking number, but their staff is efficient and friendly. Would definitely do business with them again.
