The Engineered Marine Products 26-00288 is a comprehensive lower unit gearcase seal kit designed for Mercury and Mariner V6 outboard motors. This complete seal kit provides all the essential seals, gaskets, and O-rings needed for proper lower unit maintenance and rebuild.

Kit Includes:

  • Bushing gasket (18-2155)
  • Gearcase gasket (18-2919)
  • Three oil seals (18-2002, 18-2013, 18-2014, 18-2009)
  • Two water pump gaskets (18-2914, 18-2915)
  • Bushing (18-3110)
  • Five O-rings (18-7159, 18-7176, 18-7157, 18-7153, 18-7426)
  • Drain screw gasket (18-2945)

Compatibility:

  • Mercury/Mariner 135 HP and 150 HP V6 outboards (2.0L, 2.4L, and 2.5L)
  • Mercury/Mariner 175 HP and 200 HP V6 outboards (2.0L, 2.4L, and 2.5L)
  • Fits models from 1979 to current
  • Compatible with both preload pin and non-preload pin driveshaft configurations
  • Fits both 4-3/4" and 4-1/4" gearcase sizes

This kit directly replaces Mercury OEM part number 26-89238A2, Mallory 9-74201, and Quicksilver 26-89238A2. It provides a cost-effective alternative to OEM parts while maintaining quality sealing performance for lower unit service and repair.
