Product Details

The Engineered Marine Products 11-01117 is a precision-machined carrier bearing nut designed for Mercury and Mariner marine applications. This critical component secures the bearing carrier assembly within the lower unit, ensuring proper alignment and operation of the drive system.

Key Features:

  • Direct OEM replacement for Mercury part numbers 8M2011027, 79448, 52834, and 35912
  • Compatible with 1976-1980 and 1986-2011 Mercury/Mariner V6 outboards (115-300 HP)
  • Fits 1973-2009 MC-1, MC II/TR/TRS, Alpha One, Alpha One-SS, and Alpha Gen II gearcases
  • Precision-machined construction for reliable performance
  • Maintains proper gear and bearing alignment during operation

This carrier bearing nut is essential for maintaining the integrity of your outboard or sterndrive lower unit. It prevents the bearing carrier from shifting, which could lead to misalignment and damage to internal gearcase components. Cross-references with Sierra 18-3751, GLM 21120, and Mallory 9-72155 aftermarket part numbers.
