Sierra 18-6159Z Zinc Anode Kit Marine Corrosion Protection

The Sierra 18-6159Z Zinc Anode Kit is a high-quality sacrificial anode kit designed to protect your marine engine and drive components from galvanic corrosion. Zinc anodes are the standard choice for use in saltwater and brackish water environments, where electrolytic activity is highest and corrosion risk is greatest.

Sacrificial anodes work by corroding in place of your more valuable metal components — including lower unit housings, trim tabs, and drive shafts — effectively extending the life of your engine and drivetrain. Sierra's anodes are engineered to meet or exceed OEM specifications, making them a reliable replacement or maintenance upgrade for a wide range of marine engines and outdrives.

Key Features:

• Zinc alloy construction ideal for saltwater and brackish water use
• Sacrificial design protects engine and drive components from galvanic corrosion
• Meets or exceeds OEM specifications for a proper fit and performance
• Kit format includes all necessary anodes for a complete service replacement
• Manufactured by Sierra, a trusted name in marine replacement parts

Regular anode inspection and replacement is a critical part of marine engine maintenance. Replace anodes when they have corroded to approximately 50% of their original size to ensure continuous protection. Sierra's 18-6159Z kit makes it easy to restore full corrosion protection in one convenient package.
