Product Details

The SeaStar Solutions CA69009P Neutral Safety Switch Kit is an optional safety add-on designed for use with the Morse SLT Top Mount CH5600 series single-function engine controls. This kit adds an important layer of protection by preventing the engine from being started while the control is in gear, allowing the starter motor to engage only when the throttle/shift control is in the neutral position.

Key Features:

  • Prevents accidental engine start while in gear, reducing risk of injury or vessel damage
  • Designed for use with marine engines that use a solenoid to control the starter motor
  • Optional upgrade for Morse SLT Top Mount Control (CH-5600 series)
  • Includes all necessary hardware to add neutral safety start protection to compatible control heads
  • Genuine SeaStar Solutions (formerly Teleflex) quality construction

Cross-Reference Part Numbers: CA69009, CA69009P, 1-CA69009P, 731957084835, 73195708483

This neutral safety switch kit is a straightforward, recommended upgrade for boaters who want added peace of mind and an extra measure of engine start safety on their vessel. Use only with marine engines equipped with a solenoid-controlled starter motor — do not substitute components.
