The 3M Full Facepiece Reusable Respirator 6900 (Model 54159) is a large-size, NIOSH-approved full-face respirator built for serious respiratory and eye protection in demanding industrial environments. Constructed from lightweight yet durable silicone and thermoplastic elastomer, the soft silicone faceseal conforms to the wearer's face for a secure, comfortable seal. The large polycarbonate lens meets the requirements of the ANSI Z87.1-2010 standard for high-impact eye and face protection.
Designed for versatility, the 6900 respirator is compatible with 3M bayonet-style particulate filters, gas/vapor cartridges, and supplied air systems, allowing it to address a wide range of airborne hazards. The proprietary 3M Cool Flow Exhalation Valve reduces heat and moisture build-up inside the mask, while the unique center adapter directs exhaled breath and moisture downward—minimizing debris accumulation in the valve and simplifying cleaning.
