The WSM 983-140 Shift Snake Cable Installer is a purpose-built specialty tool designed to simplify the removal and installation of intermediate shift cables in inboard/outboard lower units. This tool makes what is traditionally a frustrating, two-person job into a quick, single-technician task — saving significant time on the workbench.

  • Pull the old cable out through the drive unit
  • Thread the new replacement cable onto the shift snake

Amazingly cheap prices for what i was looking for, best online and pretty fast shipping. Took awhile for my order to be confirmed though, not sure why. But still impressed with the price set.
