Product Details

The Sierra 18-79957 VST Filter and Gasket Kit is a complete replacement kit designed for Yamaha four-stroke outboard engines. This kit provides essential maintenance components for the Vapor Separator Tank (VST) fuel system, ensuring clean fuel delivery and optimal engine performance.

What's Included:

  • One Sierra 18-79973 VST Filter
  • One Sierra 18-0717 Float Chamber Gasket

Key Features:

  • Direct OEM replacement for Yamaha part numbers 6C5-13915-00-00 and 6C5-14984-00-00
  • Filters debris and contaminants from fuel before reaching the high-pressure fuel pump
  • Essential for maintaining proper fuel pressure and preventing injector damage
  • Meets or exceeds original equipment specifications
  • Designed specifically for Yamaha marine fuel injection systems

The VST (Vapor Separator Tank) is a critical component in fuel-injected outboard engines that removes fuel vapors and maintains consistent fuel pressure to the injectors. Regular replacement of the VST filter helps prevent poor performance, rough idling, and fuel delivery issues caused by contaminated fuel or ethanol deposits.

Compatibility: Yamaha F50, F60, F70, F75, F90, T50, and T60 HP outboard engines (2005-2014 model years). Always verify fitment with your specific engine model before ordering.

USER FRIENDLY GREAT PRICE FAST SHIPPING HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PEOPLE TO DEAL WITH

Easy

Fast easy and great prices!

I had never heard of Autoplicity until I started shopping for an exhaust. I didn't think I was going to find the one I wanted at a decent price. Not only did they have my exhaust at a screaming deal, they had it to my door in perfect shape in 6 days including the evening of purchase and a weekend. I'll definitely look at buying from them again.

fairly easy/straightforward
