Megaware KeelGuard 27181 SkegGuard Skeg Protector for Force Outboard Motors

The Megaware KeelGuard 27181 SkegGuard is a heavy-duty stainless steel skeg protector engineered specifically for Force outboard motors. Designed to both protect an undamaged skeg and repair or replace one that is already broken, this guard is an affordable alternative to costly lower unit repairs.

Constructed from 18-gauge, marine-grade 316 stainless steel with a mirror-polished finish, the SkegGuard features a reinforced 3mm lower wear tab at the most vulnerable point of the skeg. A built-in drain hole prevents water from pooling inside the guard, reducing the risk of corrosion and freeze damage. The aerodynamic profile is engineered to conform closely to the skeg, ensuring it will not create drag or affect boat performance.
