Megaware KeelGuard 27321 SkegGuard Stainless Steel Skeg Protector for Yamaha Outboards

The Megaware KeelGuard SkegGuard 27321 is a marine-grade stainless steel skeg protector engineered to defend your Yamaha outboard motor's skeg from ramp dragging, submerged rocks, stumps, and underwater debris. Whether you're looking to prevent damage or repair an already broken skeg, the SkegGuard 27321 offers a durable, cost-effective solution.

Key Features:

• 316 Marine-Grade Stainless Steel: Constructed from heavy-duty 18-gauge 316 stainless steel with a mirror-polished finish that conforms precisely to your skeg's profile
• Reinforced Wear Tab: Features a 3mm lower wear tab at the bottom of the skeg where impact and abrasion are most likely to occur
• Drain Hole Design: Built-in drain hole prevents water from collecting inside the guard, eliminating stagnant water, corrosion, and freeze damage
• Easy DIY Installation: Installs in 4 simple steps in under 10 minutes using a rubber mallet; pre-drilled holes allow for a 1/4-inch drill bit attachment with self-locking hardware
• Broken Skeg Compatible: Can be installed with as little as 2–3 inches of the original skeg remaining, making it an ideal repair solution
• 3-Year Warranty: Backed by Megaware's 3-year manufacturer warranty

The SkegGuard 27321 is precision-fitted for specific Yamaha outboard motor applications and provides a far more affordable alternative to costly lower unit welding or skeg replacement services.
