The Wesbar 63847 is a heavy-duty chrome-plated hitch ball designed for reliable towing performance. This 2-5/16" ball features a 1" diameter shank and is rated for a maximum gross trailer weight of 7,500 lbs, making it suitable for towing medium-sized trailers, boats, and utility equipment.
Key Specifications:
Installation:
This hitch ball requires proper installation for safe towing. The 1" shank must be torqued to 250 ft-lbs using a calibrated torque wrench. Always ensure the ball is compatible with your hitch receiver and that the weight capacity meets or exceeds your trailer's requirements. Use appropriate washers and lock nuts during installation.
The chrome finish provides durability and weather resistance while maintaining a clean appearance. Regular inspection of the hitch ball for wear, cracks, or deformation is recommended before each towing operation.
