The keel runs down the centerline of your hull and is typically the first surface to contact concrete ramps, docks, rocks, and sand. Without protection, repeated impacts break down your boat's gelcoat finish and can allow water to penetrate the fiberglass laminates — leading to costly structural repairs. The KeelShield KS12WHT creates a rugged sacrificial barrier that absorbs that punishment so your hull doesn't have to.

Installation Note: For boats, the KeelShield should extend far enough aft to cover any area that contacts the beach, plus an additional 1–2 feet. The trailing edge should never contact the sand. For PWC installation, position the shield to within ¼ inch of the intake grate — do not apply over the intake grate itself. Anti-fouling paint must be removed from the hull surface prior to installation.
