KeelShield KS5RED 5 ft Red Keel Protector Strip for Boats and PWC

The KeelShield KS5RED is a 5-foot red keel protector designed to shield the most vulnerable point of contact on your boat or personal watercraft. Constructed from pure urethane polymers, this 5-inch wide keel guard defends against abrasions, scratches, and scars caused by concrete ramps, rocky shorelines, docks, and beaching.

KeelShield's patented grooved design doesn't just protect — it actively enhances performance by adding directional stability on boats and improving water flow to the impeller on jet-driven watercraft. The bold red color allows for a color-matched finish on red-hulled vessels and PWCs.

Key Features:

• Material: Pure urethane polymers with UV inhibitors — not PVC or PVC-based Polycore
• Dimensions: 5 feet long × 5 inches wide
• Patented grooved design adds directional stability and enhances performance
• Peel-and-stick installation using the strongest, thickest 3M marine adhesive available — no mixing or curing required
• Compatible with fiberglass, most aluminum hulls, and heat-treated wood surfaces
• Made in the USA
• Lifetime Warranty to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship
• 5-foot length recommended for boats up to 14 feet

Installation is fast and straightforward — simply prep the surface with isopropyl alcohol, peel the backing, and stick. No downtime required; your boat is ready to use immediately after application. Anti-fouling paint must be removed prior to installation on painted surfaces.
