Product Details

The Solas 1707401 (VD-RB-1) is a replacement pressed rubber hub bushing designed for use with compatible marine propellers. This rubber bushing fits directly into the propeller hub bore and provides a secure, reliable drive connection between the propeller and the engine's drive shaft.

Key Features:

  • Advanced rubber compound engineered for strength and long-term durability
  • Designed to press into the propeller hub with minimal installation effort when using the proper press equipment
  • Delivers excellent gripping force to prevent propeller slippage under load
  • Serves as a sacrificial component, protecting the gearcase and propshaft in the event of a strike or sudden impact
  • Direct replacement for worn or damaged OEM and Solas rubber hub bushings
  • Model designation: VD-RB-1

Solas rubber hub bushings are the result of extensive research and development, using a proprietary rubber compound that balances ease of installation with robust torque retention. Installation and removal typically requires a hydraulic or arbor press, and is best performed by a qualified marine shop or propeller dealer.
