Megaware KeelGuard 80638 ScuffBuster XL Notched Bow Guard 9" x 8.75" Stainless Steel

The Megaware KeelGuard ScuffBuster 80638 is an extra-large, notched bow guard designed to protect your boat's gelcoat from the scuffs, scratches, and abrasions caused by trailer rollers, bow rollers, and docking. Measuring 9" x 8.75", this XL model provides broad coverage for standard-size and larger boats, with a notch specifically designed to fit around bow eye hardware.

Key Features:

• Made from anti-corrosive, 22-gauge stainless steel with a mirror-polished finish for a clean, high-quality appearance
• Notched design accommodates bow eye hardware without requiring removal
• Attaches to the boat's surface using 3M pressure-sensitive adhesive for a secure, long-lasting bond
• Flexible construction — easily bends to conform to your boat's hull curvature
• Extra-large size (9" x 8.75") provides maximum coverage for larger bow areas
• Works best on standard V-shaped hulls and bows with minimal curvature
• Compatible with fiberglass and most aluminum boats
• Simple DIY installation — no special tools required

Installation is straightforward: clean the bow surface thoroughly to remove dirt, wax, and oils; pre-bend the guard to match the hull profile; peel the adhesive backing; press firmly into position, using a rubber mallet to fully activate the pressure-sensitive adhesive. The ScuffBuster helps maintain your boat's appearance and can also cover minor pre-existing surface marks. Backed by a one-year manufacturer's warranty from the date of purchase.
