The Awlgrip OU3200Q Quick Build Surfacer Converter (Part B) is the converter component of the Awlgrip Quick Build three-part polyurethane surfacer priming system. Designed for use in yacht, marine, and production boat finishing environments, it activates the Quick Build Surfacer system for use on aged substrates or surfaces that require additional build and fill before topcoat application.

Quick Build Surfacer is formulated to streamline the painting process — enabling substrate prep, primer application, and topcoat in a single day. With the ability to be closely color-matched to any Awlgrip topcoat using just six base colors and 60 formulated MIXIT Cloud shades, it significantly reduces the number of coating stages required to achieve a high-quality Awlgrip finish.

  • 60 formulated primer colors available in MIXIT Cloud for precise topcoat color matching
  • Superior hide — closely matching primer to topcoat color reduces topcoat usage in certain colors
  • Can be applied directly to certain substrates with no additional primers required
  • Optional reduction — 5 to 10% Awlgrip Reducers (T0001, T0002, T0003, T0005) may be added to ease application
  • Compatible overcoats include Awlcraft SE, Awlcraft 2000, Awlcraft 3000, and Awlgrip Topcoat

The OU3200Q is sold as the quart-size Surfacer Converter (Part B) only. The Quick Build Primer Base (Part A) and Surfacer Activator OA3210 (Part C) are sold separately. This product is considered hazardous for air shipment — additional shipping fees may apply.
