The Awlgrip OU7000Q Quick Build Red Base is the Part A (Base) component of Awlgrip's advanced Quick Build priming system — a high-performance, fast-drying, three-component polyurethane primer designed to streamline the painting process without sacrificing finish quality. The Red Base is one of six colored bases in the Quick Build system, engineered to be tinted or blended to closely match any Awlgrip topcoat color, minimizing the number of application stages required to achieve a professional finish.

Quick Build functions as both a Sealer Primer and a Surfacer Primer using the same base — simply select the appropriate converter and activator for your application. Use the Sealer system for small components and production environments, or the Surfacer system for aged substrates and surfaces requiring additional build. Both systems support a complete substrate-to-topcoat workflow in a single day.

  • Surfacer System: 3 Parts OU7000Q Base : 1 Part Surfacer Converter OU3200 : 1 Part Surfacer Activator OA3210

Sold as a quart (Part A Base only). Converters and activators are sold separately. Compatible with Awlcraft SE and Awlgrip HDT Clear topcoat systems.
