Sierra 18-71340 Replacement Water Pump Seal for Johnson/Evinrude 25/35 HP Outboards

The Sierra 18-71340 is a marine-grade replacement water pump seal designed for Johnson/Evinrude (OMC/BRP) 25 HP and 35 HP outboard engines from 1996 to 2001. This seal is a direct replacement for OEM part number 342370 and is a key component in maintaining a properly functioning cooling system on your outboard motor.

Outboard engines depend on a reliable water pump to circulate coolant and prevent overheating. A worn or failed water pump seal can lead to reduced water flow, elevated engine temperatures, and costly engine damage. Replacing this seal at regular service intervals helps ensure long-term engine reliability.

Key Features:

• Replaces Johnson/Evinrude (OMC/BRP) OEM part number 342370
• Compatible with Johnson/Evinrude 25 HP and 35 HP outboard models (1996–2001)
• Also compatible with the Sierra 18-3491 Water Pump Kit
• Constructed from marine-grade materials for durability in harsh saltwater and freshwater environments
• Meets or exceeds original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications

This seal is sold individually and is ideal for technicians or do-it-yourself boaters performing water pump service or repair on the specified Johnson and Evinrude outboard models. For a complete water pump overhaul, consider pairing this seal with the Sierra 18-3491 Water Pump Repair Kit.
